PQ Farm Flowers
Sculptural, Garden-Inspired Wedding Florals Rooted in Season, Designed with Intention
For couples on the CT Shoreline and beyond
“I couldn’t have asked for a better florist experience for my wedding. As a fellow creative and former wedding vendor myself, I know the challenges that come with bringing someone else’s vision to life, and MaryAnn did just that. She sourced the most beautiful flowers/fruit and props and took my unique vision and made it a reality, all while being kind, communicative, and easy to work with. She stayed until my wedding was over, and even donated my flowers to a good cause. I would give her 10 stars if I could.”
Poquonnock Plains Urban Farm
At Poquonnock Plains Urban Farm, floral design begins in the field and evolves into something artful, immersive, and deeply personal.
I specialize in creating refined, garden-style wedding florals that feel as though they’ve naturally grown into your celebration—layered, textural, and thoughtfully composed. Each design is guided by seasonality, movement, and a sculptural approach that brings a sense of quiet luxury to your day.
My work is for couples who value more than just beautiful flowers—they want a cohesive experience. From ceremony installations to reception tablescapes, every element is designed to feel intentional, enhancing both the atmosphere of your celebration and the way it’s remembered in photographs.
Rather than filling a space with florals, I guide you in focusing on what will have the greatest impact—creating focal points that anchor the design and leave a lasting impression.
Most couples I work with invest between $5,000–$8,000 in full-service floral design, allowing for a layered, cohesive look with thoughtfully placed statement elements. I don't just arrange blooms; I showcase them. By blending lush, seasonal flowers with a designer’s eye for texture and movement, I create refined, garden-inspired environments that feel as if they were plucked perfectly from nature, specifically for your moment.
Your wedding is a milestone that deserves more than a standard bouquet. I am here to ensure your floral artistry is rooted in the earth and polished for the occasion. If you’re drawn to florals that feel natural yet refined—artful without excess—I’d love to hear more about what you’re envisioning.
Get in touch to begin your floral design process, and we’ll create something that reflects your style, your setting, and the season in a way that feels effortless and unforgettable. Share a few details, and we’ll be in touch to schedule your consultation.
For couples planning a more simplified celebration or working within a smaller floral scope, a thoughtfully curated à la carte collection is also available, offering seasonal, design-forward pieces in a more streamlined format.
Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
Here are answers to questions I am asked about the wedding and event floral design services I offer
Q: What is the design aesthetic of PQ Farm Flowers?
A: If I had to sum up my “floral identity,” I would say my designs are sculptural, seasonally driven wedding florals that feel artful, immersive, and deeply connected to place. My designs are:
Nature-led, design-driven florals
Layered, textural, and intentionally composed
Arranged with movement and restraint
Organic forms with a refined, editorial finish
Artistic but grounded
Organic but intentional
Romantic but sophisticated
Or more succinctly: Effortless, nature-led elegance with an artistic edge
Q: Where do your flowers come from?
A: As a flower farmer and floral designer, I grow about 75% to 100% of the flowers used in my wedding designs, depending on the time of year and the flowers selected. When ordering any flowers, my preference is always for local or American-grown suppliers. When ordering imported flowers, I choose suppliers that share my values and ethics.
Q: What makes your wedding florals sustainable?
A: In addition to using sustainably grown and seasonal flowers from my farm, which helps reduce the carbon footprint,my designs are completely floral foam-free, with all plastics reused to minimize waste.
Q: Can you work with my specific color palette and vision?
A: Yes, I will absolutely collaborate with you to develop a floral plan that reflects your unique style, colors, and budget. I utilize my knowledge of seasonal flowers to select options that match your desired aesthetic.

The Booking Process
Q: How do I book your services for my wedding?
A: Your experience begins with a curated inquiry (here). After you share your details, I’ll personally reach out to invite you to a 30-minute consultation—held via Zoom or phone call—where we’ll explore your vision, aesthetic, and overall investment. Following our conversation, you’ll receive a proposal, thoughtfully developed with a refined floral perspective in mind.
When you’re ready to move forward, your selected proposal will be elevated into your formal booking agreement, accompanied by your contract and an initial invoice to secure your date. Once your signed contract and retainer are received, your date is exclusively reserved on my calendar—and we begin shaping the details, from curated blooms to the overall atmosphere, with intention and care.
Q: How far in advance should I book my wedding flowers?
A: Booking as early as possible is recommended due to high demand for certain dates.
